C & J · BEFORE LAUNCH
Booking terms — review draft
Prepared for owner and South African legal review. These proposed terms are not yet live booking conditions.
Who we are and what is pending
C AND J SIGNATURE TOURS (PTY) LTD, registration 2026/722904/07. Public service address, email, telephone, dispute contact and Information Officer details must be added before launch. Operator, driver, guide, vehicle and insurance records need separate verification.
Quotes and confirmation
An enquiry or planning estimate is not a reservation. Before accepting payment, provide the final itinerary, dates, party, transport, inclusions, exclusions, total ZAR price, supplier terms and cancellation policy. A live booking is confirmed only in writing after availability and the agreed payment requirement are met.
Prices and payment
Display the complete price and mandatory charges before acceptance. The proposed direct model uses a 30% deposit, with the balance due seven days before departure; bookings within seven days require full payment once accepted. Deposits are payments toward the price, not automatically non-refundable. Tax treatment and merchant terms must be finalised.
Changes and third-party services
Route changes must be reasonable and communicated. Material substitutions need guest agreement. Identify third-party operators and disclose their terms before purchase. Do not promise guaranteed weather, wildlife, cableway operation or access to a particular venue.
Traveller responsibilities
Provide accurate pickup, flight, age, luggage and practical access information. Follow lawful safety instructions. Carry any identification required for resident entrance rates. Tell us promptly about itinerary changes that may affect timings or capacity.
Liability and consumer rights
No term excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Do not use a blanket waiver for negligence or an automatic forfeiture of every deposit. Cancellation and refund provisions must be applied reasonably with regard to South African consumer law.
Records and acceptance
Before live launch, record the version of terms accepted, timestamp, quote and itinerary. Supply a durable copy to the guest. Electronic disclosure requirements, CPA application and any ECTA exclusions require professional review for the exact services sold.
